The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join a specialist B2B media, publishing and events business serving the UK legal sector.

We're looking for a commercially driven salesperson who thrives on winning new business. This role will suit someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening doors and building relationships from scratch, rather than relying on inbound enquiries or marketing-generated leads. Candidates from smaller businesses, start-ups or scale-ups-where self-sufficiency and initiative are essential - will be particularly well suited.

The Role

You'll be responsible for generating new business revenue across a flagship legal brand, selling integrated advertising and marketing solutions to legal technology providers, including AI, document management and software businesses.

Success in this role comes from proactively building your own pipeline through research, outreach and networking, supported by a consultative sales approach. You'll also work closely with editorial, marketing and production teams to develop tailored commercial proposals and deliver successful campaigns.

About You

  • Minimum two years' B2B sales experience
  • A proven track record of self-generating pipeline and winning new business
  • Comfortable prospecting, cold outreach and developing opportunities from scratch
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organisation

Package

  • £38,000-£50,000 basic salary
  • OTE £60,000
  • 25 days' holiday plus your birthday and Christmas Eve off

Location

Hybrid role with three days per week in the Mortlake office.
