DC Byte is the leading provider of market data, research, and intelligence for the global data centre sector. At the heart of an industry that quietly keeps the world connected, our technology-led platform empowers the key players designing and developing digital infrastructure to make high-stakes, multi-billion-pound investment and strategy decisions.

We're always looking for driven and dynamic people to join our Business Development function as we expand our client base across the data centre industry.

If you're passionate about technology and market intelligence, have a knack for engaging with executives and senior stakeholders, and experience managing a full sales cycle, read on!

Requirements

  • Experienced in selling information services or market intelligence, preferably in the data centre, real estate, or digital infrastructure sector
  • Exceptional at communicating and negotiating, and have a track record of effectively engaging with executives and key decision-makers
  • Motivated to drive results independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Skilled at building pipelines, closing deals and forecasting results accurately
  • Already used to HubSpot

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients across various sectors, including data centre operators, hyperscalers, data centre suppliers, consultancies, and investment groups.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and outreach to successfully closing deals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Effectively present and demonstrate our data centre research products, reports, and subscription services.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing and research teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned with current market trends.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and dedicated business development efforts.
  • Maintain meticulous records in our CRM systems and provide regular, accurate sales reports and forecasts.
