About R-Dental
R-Dental is a consultant-led, multispecialty private dental practice based on Burnt Oak Broadway. We provide high-quality specialist and general dental care, supported by experienced clinicians and modern facilities.
Alongside our dental services, the wider organisation is developing and delivering medical services, including occupational health, workplace health and related clinical services. We also operate the R-Academy, which provides professional education and training across dental and medical disciplines.
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead the growth of these business areas.
The Role
This is a hands-on, on-site, full-time role for someone who can take ownership of business development, partnerships, marketing coordination and revenue growth across:
- R-Dental’s private dental services
- Specialist and consultant-led dental treatments
- Occupational health and workplace medical services
- The R-Academy’s dental and medical courses
- Corporate, professional and community partnerships
You will work closely with the directors, clinicians, administrative team and external marketing providers to convert opportunities into measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Dental Business Development
- Develop and implement strategies to increase private patient enquiries, consultations and treatment uptake.
- Promote the practice’s consultant-led and multispecialty services to patients, referring dentists and local healthcare professionals.
- Build relationships with dental practices, clinicians, healthcare organisations and community partners.
- Support the growth of specialist referral pathways and professional referral networks.
- Identify opportunities for open days, consultation events, treatment campaigns and local partnerships.
- Monitor enquiries, referral sources, conversion rates and patient acquisition performance.

Medical and Occupational Health Services
- Promote occupational health and workplace medical services to local and regional employers.
- Identify and approach prospective clients through telephone outreach, email campaigns, networking and face-to-face meetings.
- Develop relationships with businesses, schools, care providers, construction companies and other organisations requiring workplace health support.
- Prepare proposals, service information and presentations for prospective clients.
- Support account management, client onboarding and the development of long-term commercial relationships.
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities, activity and projected revenue.
R-Academy
- Promote dental and medical courses to clinicians, healthcare professionals and organisations.
- Support the planning, launch and commercial development of courses, workshops and professional events.
- Build relationships with speakers, trainers, sponsors, professional networks and potential delegates.
- Help develop course calendars, promotional campaigns and partnership opportunities.
- Track registrations, delegate engagement and commercial performance.
Marketing and Brand Development
- Coordinate digital and physical marketing activity across the dental practice, medical services and academy.
- Work with external providers on website content, social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation and paid advertising.
- Develop and distribute brochures, leaflets, referral packs and other promotional materials.
- Ensure marketing campaigns are commercially focused and aligned with the organisation’s growth objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on enquiries, conversions and return on investment.
- Maintain consistent and professional branding across all services.

About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working across several related business areas. The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in business development, sales, practice growth, healthcare marketing or account management.
- Experience within dentistry, healthcare, occupational health, private medical services, education or professional training.
- A strong understanding of lead generation, sales pipelines and relationship management.
- Confidence approaching prospective clients by telephone, email, LinkedIn and in person.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prepare professional proposals, presentations and marketing content.
- Experience coordinating digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A results-focused approach, with the ability to monitor performance against clear commercial targets.
- Confidence working independently while collaborating closely with directors, clinicians and external partners.
- Experience within dental practice management, private healthcare, occupational health or healthcare education would be particularly advantageous.
What We Offer
- A salary of £45,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
