Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading Microsoft-focused digital transformation consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving business growth by developing new client relationships and promoting innovative Microsoft technology solutions.
Working closely with clients and strategic partners, you will identify new business opportunities, understand customer challenges, and deliver tailored digital transformation solutions across AI, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, CRM, and ERP technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and win new business across the UK and international markets.
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and present tailored technology solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong relationships with strategic technology partners.
- Gain a deep understanding of the company's Microsoft technology portfolio and communicate its value proposition effectively.
- Prepare and deliver engaging proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Manage and prioritise a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent opportunity generation.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer records using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with marketing, technical, and customer success teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Share market insights to support product development and marketing initiatives.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Business Development or Technology Sales.
- Strong background selling IT solutions, digital transformation services, or Microsoft technologies.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills
- Experience selling Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or AI solutions.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification.
