Stevenswood is a dedicated supplier of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors, glass, conservatories, and accessories, catering to both trade professionals and homeowners. With trade counters throughout the UK, we offer a wide range of trusted products to retail, trade, and distribution clients, whilst providing exceptional service, and competitive pricing to help you win more business, streamline installations, and maximise your profits.
We are now expanding our Sales division here at Stevenswood and we are really excited to announce we are looking for a Business Development Manager to cover our South of England region (Bristol, Swindon & Cheltenham). The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of windows and doors, along with a proven track record of delivering sales expertise and field-based support that drives profitable growth across our trade counter branches.

Key Responsibilities

- To develop a sales strategy to support and drive sales via the branches that ensures the attainment of Company sales goals and profitability in accordance with the Company’s objectives.
- Working with the Branch Managers, Area Managers & Sales Director to action and deliver the sales growth plan to grow top line sales, whilst trading at targeted margin levels and working within authorisation levels.
- To prepare & undertake action plans for the effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- To initiate and co-ordinate action plans to effectively drive and engage with prospects and sales leads.
- To initiate and coordinate action plans to maintain & develop existing business and obtain new business from both prospects and existing customers.
- To assist in the development and undertaking of sales & marketing initiatives as required.
- To maintain & grow the customer database and ensure that information is kept up-to-date and accurate.
- To maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports to be submitted to the Sales Director.
- To arrange & manage appointments providing maximum time efficiency.
- To maximise profit and minimise expense in line with individual branches P&L’s.
- To minimise risk by ensuring credit facilities offered are in line with authorisation levels and that debt is proactively managed.
- To partner with operational and support function colleagues to develop branch specific plans.
- To work closely with Branch Managers in the area developing an understanding of competitors and pursue potential sales opportunities.
