Role: Business Development Manager - Digital Transformation

Location: Horsham / Kent

Type: Full-time

Salary: £50,000 plus double OTE

The Opportunity

An established technology solutions provider is looking for a driven Digital Transformation Sales Consultant to help organisations modernise their operations through innovative technology solutions. This is a consultative sales role focused on identifying business challenges, building trusted relationships, and delivering solutions that create measurable operational and commercial improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities across SME, mid-market and enterprise organisations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client objectives, challenges and digital maturity.
  • Present tailored solutions across areas including automation, cloud services, AI, analytics and business applications.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to develop solution proposals.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven success in B2B technology, SaaS, consultancy or digital transformation sales.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership teams.
  • Consultative sales approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
