McCue is a global leader in industrial safety solutions, helping protect people, equipment, and facilities through innovative products and exceptional customer partnerships. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK Industrial Safety market.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering consultative solutions to industrial end users.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow your territory and achieve sales targets.
  • Generate new business opportunities and build a portfolio of high-value customer accounts.
  • Build relationships with end users, Architects, System Integrators, General Contractors, and other key decision-makers.
  • Manage your sales pipeline and forecast using HubSpot CRM.
  • Deliver product presentations and consultative sales meetings with customers.
  • Identify opportunities to influence specifications before the tender stage.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Travel regularly throughout your territory, spending approximately three days per week meeting customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development or technical sales within the Industrial Safety sector or a related B2B industry.
  • Demonstrated success winning new business and growing strategic customer accounts.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system (HubSpot experience is an advantage).
  • Commercially driven with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
