Due to this we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our corporate market efforts. This is a key role that will shape and drive our sales strategy, expand our market presence, build key client relationships and contribute to our overall mission: What you’ll be doing: •Identify and pursue new business opportunities and projects within the corporate sector. •Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting trust relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers. •Lead the sales process from prospecting through to closing, ensuring that sales targets and objectives are consistently met or exceeded. •Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing and subject matter experts on product development, and account delivery teams to ensure alignment and drive business success. •Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and decisions. •Easily liaise with clients at varying levels to establish their problems and challenges, reassuring and guiding them as they embark on the client journey. •Identify routes to success, working with technical experts, solutions architects, and project teams to maximize PGI’s offer and value to the client. The package includes base salary plus commission, as detailed within PGI’s annual commission plan. On day one you will bring: •At least 2 years’ business development experience in the corporate market, focused on cyber security or business resilience. •A track record of growing sales and developing strong client relationships. •Solid understanding of corporate buying processes, market trends and key decision-makers. •Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. •A proactive, results-driven approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. •A commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience and spotting opportunities to solve real business challenges. •Experience negotiating multi-year contracts and securing recurring revenue. •The ability to clearly articulate PGI’s value, build rapport at events, maintain relationships through change and drive referrals. •The confidence to guide clients, build trust in PGI’s expertise and identify cross-sell opportunities across our service lines.
