Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving new business opportunities and strengthening client relationships in the workplace and high-end residential interiors sector. Day-to-day activities include:

- Identifying and qualifying leads
- Managing the sales pipeline
- Conducting outreach through calls, emails, and virtual meetings
- Preparing proposals, presentations, and bid documents in collaboration with internal design and project teams
- Participating in virtual client pitches and negotiations
- Monitoring market trends
- Maintaining CRM records
- Providing regular performance reports to leadership

This position works closely with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a seamless transition from initial contact through project handover, while representing HOG Group Ltd’s values of quality and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in lead generation, client relationship management, and closing sales in a B2B environment, ideally within interiors, construction, or related design services.
- Strong skills in pipeline management, forecasting, and use of CRM tools to track opportunities and performance.
- Experience preparing and delivering compelling sales proposals, presentations, and bids, with attention to detail and commercial accuracy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design, project, and operations teams.
- Solid understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Comfort working remotely, with strong time management, self-organization, and digital collaboration skills.
- Relevant experience in workplace or residential interiors, property, construction, or design-led businesses is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
