Business Development Manager - EV Charging Solutions
Hemel Hempstead – Hybrid (Monthly)
Competitive Salary + £700 per month Car Allowance + 10% KPI Bonus + 35 Days Holiday + Pension + Benefits
Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with experience in EV charging or energy storage solutions, looking to play a key role in the growth of a market-leading business at the forefront of sustainable energy and electric vehicle infrastructure?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering and technology organisation operating within the rapidly expanding EV charging sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and driving the growth of innovative charging and energy solutions across the UK & Ireland market.

Working closely with major stakeholders including EV OEMs, utilities, and charging point operators, you will develop sales strategies, manage commercial opportunities from inception through to contract award, and coordinate technical and commercial bid activities.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales and business development, coupled with strong knowledge of EV charging infrastructure, battery energy storage systems, or related power electronics technologies. The Role:
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies within the EV charging market
- Identify and secure opportunities with EV OEMs, utilities, and charging point operators
- Manage key customer accounts and build long-term business relationships
- Coordinate technical and commercial bid submissions
- Travel to customers across the UK & Ireland
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade exhibitions

The Person:
- Good years of experience in technical sales or business development
- Experience within EV charging infrastructure or battery energy storage solutions
- Strong account management and commercial negotiation skills
- Technical understanding of EV charging systems, power conditioning systems, or energy storage technologies
