Business Development Manager
Location: Slough (Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 base + £12,000 OTE uncapped + benefits

A leading UK Learning & Development provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its growing commercial team. This is a varied role combining new business development with account management, giving you the opportunity to generate new opportunities while growing existing client relationships across a broad range of industries including technology, AI, professional services, finance and more.
You'll be working with organisations to understand their learning and development needs, providing tailored e learning and training programmes that genuinely help businesses upskill their workforce. Backed by a well respected brand, you'll have the support, tools and training to build a successful career, with clear progression opportunities as the business continues to grow.

The Role
- Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing an existing portfolio of customers
- Build relationships with key decision makers across a variety of industries
- Consult with clients to understand their learning and development objectives
- Sell a range of e learning programmes and training solutions
- Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell existing accounts
- Deliver engaging virtual and face to face client meetings
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience

About You
- Previous experience in business development/b2b sales
- Strong relationship building and consultative selling skills
- Confident managing both new business and existing customer accounts
- Motivated by achieving targets and delivering excellent customer outcomes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
