Business Development Manager (Hunter) Required for a SaaS Solutions Provider

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Commission + Benefits, inc Car Allowance

This is a Remote role with regular weekly travel throughout the UK to build long-term relationships with new customers.

About the Role

This is an ambitious and growing SaaS technology business looking for a new Business Development Manager to join the team as a Hunter, to drive new sales pipelines for their latest version and updated SaaS solutions - including integration of AI.

This is not a role where you'll inherit a mature territory or manage existing relationships. Instead, we're looking for a genuine hunter who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors, building momentum from scratch, and winning new logo business.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of the business's growth plans as they continue to win long-term, enterprise customers. These are relationships that you know take time, credibility, and a consultative sales approach to develop.

From a sales perspective, this is a product that has multiple USPs when compared with similar competitors, as well as some fantastic case studies and social proof to work with.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements

  • Must have strong SaaS / Subscription-model sales experience.

  • A mindset focused on understanding customer challenges and delivering measurable business value is central to the sales process.
  • Enterprise new business sales success, building pipelines from scratch, and evidence of converting opportunities into revenue.
  • A genuine hunter mentality, comfortable prospecting, networking, and creating opportunities where few currently exist. (There are quick-wins to be had, however the focus is on larger-ticket items now)
