The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you’ll take full ownership of a protected territory, running the entire 360° sales cycle—from the initial contact to closing complex B2B deals. You will support Business Development Executives (BDEs) and foster long-term client relationships across SMEs and mid-market businesses.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospecting

    • Research your territory and execute targeted outbound campaigns to convert cold prospects into viable opportunities.
  • Consultative Selling

    • Conduct discovery calls and meetings where you’ll consult SME and mid-market businesses to identify their challenges, then present seamless solutions.
  • Closing Deals

    • Successfully navigate multiply-tiered B2B sales cycles under multiple stakeholders and close deals that align with shared business value.
  • Account Growth

    • Cross-sell, upsell, and generate referrals to develop enduring strategic partnerships.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven B2B sales experience (preferring complex or solution-based selling methodologies).

  • Natural Hunter in Prospecting: Thrives on cold outreach, new accounts, and capturing accounts from the beginning.

  • Ultimate Resilience: You thrive when self-driven, owning every part of your outcomes.

  • Coachable with Growth Mindset: Always looking to develop new skills. Telecoms, IT or Cybersecurity background? Advantage yours.


The Process

  1. Phone Screening (20-30 mins) – with Talent Partner.
  2. Video Interview (45 mins - 1 hour) – with Sales Manager.
  3. Final Interview (1.5 hours) – with Head of Sales and Director, including a prospecting/presentation exercise.

Benefits

Earn What You Achieve:

  • Base Salary: Competitive dependent on level of experience & target setting
  • Car Allowance: £400 per month (£4,800 annually)
  • Real earning potential: No fixed limits. GP commission share, plus monthly accelerators.

Projections for: Year 1 OTE: £65–80k Year 2-3 OTE: £80–100k Top performers: £100k+

  • Flexible Working (2 WFH days, complementary to job performance).
