Business Development Lead

About the Company

The Resolute Group is proud to be retained on behalf of a global Geotechnical and Earthworks specialist, delivering full turnkey solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Following recent private equity investment, the business is entering an exciting period of growth and is seeking a Business Development Lead to focus on the growth across the Warehouse and logistic sector. With a focus on developing new client relationships, strengthening existing key clients and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy across the Construction and Infrastructure sectors.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will take ownership of the business development strategy for your business unit, identifying new opportunities, upselling products and offering technical solutions for the issues the client may have. Be it Geotechnical consulting, Design, Foundations, Subsidence, Geo-polymer and groundwork turn key solutions (Design & Delivery).

This is a key appointment for the business, you will need to have geotechnical knowledge and be able to discuss options, someone who understands technical solutions and has an established network across logistics, warehousing, industrial, or construction sectors.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating business, building trusted stakeholder relationships, and securing projects within a technical environment.

You will support opportunities ranging from £10k to £5m+, working closely with operations to ensure the right resources, expertise, and solutions are aligned to successfully deliver projects.

  • Work collaboratively with technical and operational teams to develop client solutions.

Working Pattern

This is a relationship-led role combining office-based collaboration with regular client engagement.

You will typically spend 2-3 days per week in the office, working closely with the Head of Sales, Managing Director and wider technical and operations team. The remaining time focused on meeting clients, developing opportunities, and building strategic relationships across the UK.

The successful candidate will provide visible leadership within the business and play a key role in shaping future growth.
