Business Development Manager – Fertility/Endocrinology – Scotland, Northern Ireland & North East England

Our client is a highly successful company, working with the most successful fertility clinics in the UK and constantly increasing market share in this interesting and challenging market. They have built a strong reputation within the UK Fertility market, with an imminent launch in Endocrinology. This is an exciting time to join a growing business.

You will be working on their core specialist Fertility products for Reproductive Health as well as launching their new Endocrinology product.

Using your energy, enthusiasm and people skills you will grow the business through the management of key accounts, developing strong relationships with clinic decision makers and stakeholders.

This will require combining a high level of sales drive, creativity and excellent product and technical knowledge. In this role, the individual will be able to demonstrate their skills, professionalism and be a valued member of the team, who really makes a difference.

As they are a small company, they need people who contribute and are passionate about the company they work for.

In summary you should have/ be able to:

  • Demonstrate strong Key Account Management skills, ideally in a secondary care environment
  • Evidence of ability to develop strong relationships with key personnel in customer unit
  • Evidence of creativity in penetrating key accounts and establishing contact with decision makers
  • At ease using scientific, practical and commercial arguments in promoting products and services
  • Ability to show empathy and quickly establish credibility
  • Work on your own without loads of direction but happy to take guidance when given
  • Good scientific background- comfortable with highly technical info
  • Real desire to be successful
  • ABPI qualified
