About Andor Group

Andor Group Ltd is on a mission to be the very best answer in construction site security. Based in Southampton with offices in Bristol and London, we deliver manned guarding, CCTV and remote monitoring, traffic marshalling and a full range of site protection solutions across the South and South West.

What sets us apart is that we build and deliver everything in house. We're not buying a service and renaming it – we're building it ourselves, and our in-house systems put the big boys to shame. As we grow, we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join our sales team and help us win the market.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales and joining an established sales team, this is a new-business focused role responsible for generating, developing and closing opportunities across construction site security. You'll own the full sales cycle – from prospecting and pitching through to winning contracts and handing over to operations – while building a strong, sustainable pipeline in your region. You'll be out meeting clients on site and in person, so a hunger for face-to-face relationship building is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and win new business across the construction and facilities sectors within the South and South West.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation and prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client needs and recommend the right mix of services – manned guarding, CCTV and monitoring, traffic marshalling and wider site protection.
  • Build lasting relationships with main contractors, developers, facilities managers and site teams.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, tenders and quotations, working closely with operations to ensure deliverability.
  • Attend site visits, client meetings and industry networking events across the region.
  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline and forecasts within the CRM.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity and opportunities within the security, construction and facilities industries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
