Overview
Staff Power Training are a national training specialist we work with employers, and learners to help them achieve success. Our values are all centred around our learners and we delivery training the centred around our strong relationships with employers and the creation of qualifications that support employment, a progression pool team that works with our learners after they complete their training and through to a job offer being made and meaningful, sustainable employment.
Pay: £35,000 – £40,000, up to £10,000pa in on target earnings in addition to basic salary.
Overview
Staff Power Training are a national training provider going through an exciting period of change and growth across all of its services. As part of this growth, we are looking for Business Development Manager within the employability division to identify and build relationships with employment partners nationwide and to assist organisations build individualised training packages to fulfil their recruitment needs.
Key Deliverables
- Engage with employment partners nationwide to secure job vacancies for Staff Power Training learners within our progression pool.
- Consult with employment partners to create recruitment solutions that fit their needs.
- Promote our commercial services and full cost provision

Main Duties
- To identify employers who have employment opportunities and develop and maintain strong relationships to understand their recruitment and training needs.
- Arrange and attend careers events for local employers to attract prospective learners / employees.
- Support learners in securing employment opportunities with links to local and national employers.
- To identify and engage in communication with local and national employment partnership groups to promote our services and identify employment opportunities.
- Attending promotions days at client premises when required and promoting the company’s services to potential customers/learners.
- Accurate and timely completion of all recruitment documentation.
- Conduct your role in line with the company value and expected behaviours.
- Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company.
- Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and to be vigilant to potential concerns and risks.
- Ensure confidentially and professionalism at all times.
- Deliver the company values.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience of successful business development in a B2B setting.
- Previous experience working within the education, training, or recruitment sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding challenging sales targets.
- Willingness to travel and hold a UK driving license.
- Ability to self-identify cold call leads and engage in face-to-face sales.
- Tenacious with ability to self-motivate.
- Excellent communication at all levels.
- Outstanding customer service skills.

Role Requirements
Office based sales role with travel. Driving license and access to a car.
Learners are at the centre of everything we do so we are committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare. For this role, we will also carry out adverse media checks and also need to carry out a DBS check and will ask information related to previous convictions if you are shortlisted for interview.
