Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager - £22,000 p/a + Bens
BDM required for multi-disciplined Architectural and Construction firm based in Hornchurch, Essex.
Purpose Of The Role
To identify suitable opportunities within the construction, property, and other development markets to generate and secure new business revenue. The successful candidate will build upon our initial experience and create lasting relationships with new and existing clients as well as using their market knowledge and researching new contacts to create their own leads.

Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and support client bids to deliver an agreed revenue target which will be discussed and agreed with the Head of Sales & Directors
- Liaise with internal and external clients to develop relationships and secure meetings to identify revenue generating opportunities
- Use own contacts within property sectors to identify additional opportunities
- Work with directors to ensure compelling proposals are developed to secure new business
- Liaise with other parts of the group as appropriate

Essential Experience/Skills
- Previous business development experience in financial services, energy, or other regulated sector(s) is essential
- Knowledge of property, development, and construction sector(s)
- Able to work using own initiative and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to organise workload and work to tight deadlines
- Flexibility in working hours and locations
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio to at least intermediate level
