We're hiring: Business Development Manager

Parabellum Security Services is growing its commercial team. We're looking for a mid-level Business Development Manager to drive new contract wins across our established security services and our expanding electronic security range.

Based in Warwickshire, Parabellum delivers manned guarding, canine (K9) security, drone security services, event security and private residential security. We're now investing in a new generation of electronic services — deployable CCTV towers, motion detection and rapid-deployment products — and we need a capable salesperson to take them to market alongside our core offering.

The role:

  • Field-based new business, owning the sales cycle from pipeline generation through to signed contract
  • Selling the full Parabellum range, with the emphasis on our larger standard services, where the real long-term value and sustainability lie
  • Presenting to decision-makers and closing new annual contracts, with full support on pricing and proposals

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The role is available from October 2026. To apply, send your CV and a short covering note to info@parabellumsecurity.org.

A note on the start date

We've set an October start deliberately, for three reasons. It allows the successful applicant to work their notice period in full. It gives us time to prepare properly for the role — this is a position we've not employed before, so we're building the process and wider marketing strategy around it, rather than dropping someone into a gap. And it allows us to complete an extensive overhaul of our website and supporting marketing materials, and to prepare our marketing function to support the role from day one. In short, we want the person who joins us to walk into a role that's ready for them.
