London: onsite full time, with time to be split across both London Bridge and Lister Hospital

Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development Team at HCA Healthcare UK, working across our fantastic London Bridge and Lister Hospitals.

As one of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers, our hospitals are recognised for clinical excellence, world-class consultants, and significant ongoing investment in innovation, facilities and technology. This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive strategic growth across multiple sites within a dynamic and commercially ambitious environment.

As a Business Development Manager within the Senior Management Team, you’ll lead the development and delivery of service line growth strategies across our London facilities.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and Heads of Business Development to identify, evaluate and launch new services, strengthen referral pathways, and expand consultant partnerships.

You’ll analyse market data, referral patterns and competitor activity to unlock commercial opportunities, increase market share and drive revenue growth. Acting as an extension of senior leadership, you will build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, support them in growing their practices, and ensure service accessibility and operational excellence.

This is a highly visible, commercially focused role suited to someone who thrives on delivering measurable growth, influencing senior stakeholders and shaping the future direction of private healthcare services.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best service. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
