Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector. As a key ambassador of FormFive, you will play a critical role in promoting our collaborative ethos, building long-term strategic relationships, and helping bring our vision to life across every project and partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with FormFive’s growth strategy and values
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, developers, consultants, and contractors
- Promote The FormFive Way by embedding a collaborative and modern approach in all client interactions
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities across key sectors (e.g., commercial, residential, fit-out)
- Lead the preparation of bids, tenders, and proposals, ensuring they reflect our innovative and inclusive delivery approach
- Attend networking events, industry forums, and client meetings to represent FormFive and strengthen market presence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure sustainable and profitable business
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and shared understanding of client expectations
- Track performance against targets and contribute to continuous improvement of business development strategy

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Commercial role within the construction industry
- Established network of industry contacts (developers, contractors, consultants)
- Good understanding of construction processes, procurement routes, and project lifecycles
- Experience in leading tender submissions and negotiating contracts
- Full UK driving licence (if travel is required)

- Value and volume of new business secured
- Growth in client base and strategic partnerships
- Conversion rate of leads to awarded projects
- Alignment of new opportunities with company vision and delivery model
- Client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
