The Opportunity
We need a Business Development Manager in our Leeds team to drive growth across ITV’s media & digital agency partnerships, direct client relationships, and creative agencies. Reporting to the Business Manager, this role centres on nurturing strategic partnerships through intelligence, creativity, and revenue optimisation.
Your focus? Securing high-value partnerships, pitching innovative solutions, negotiating deals, and growing ITV’s presence in all commercial platforms. The team rewards bold, imaginative approaches to revenue streams while inspiring both clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the Business Plan and co-own execution
- Grow revenue and industry reputation across assigned agencies/clients
- Foster strategic senior relationships, turning challenges into revenue opportunities
- Communicate priorities and updates to the Business Manager proactively
- Represent and sell all of ITV’s commercial assets (airtime & multiplatform)
- Drive incremental revenue and enhance ITV’s market positioning
- Align creative agencies and clients with ITV’s solutions for shared business goals
- Uphold best practices, reinforcing consistency across offices
- Build strong teamwork internally (with Business Development Managers and Group Managers) for seamless delivery
- Stay adaptive to new platforms and integrated revenue opportunities

About You
Minimum Requirements
✔ Strong knowledge of the TV trading market & broader media ✔ Expertise in understanding agency motivations, client challenges, and growth opportunities ✔ Persistent negotiator with a proven track record of winning business ✔ Experience crafting and delivering annual business plans to secure revenue growth ✔ Skills to brief, develop, and pitch bespoke cross-media campaigns aligning to client needs ✔ Demonstrated commercial acumen, target-setting, and performance tracking
