About Us

Operating in the UK and Europe since 1989, Meadow Vale Foods, part of MVH Ltd, is a fast moving, entrepreneurial business. We are known in the Independent Food Service and Retail Sector for the quality of our products, service and expertise.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sales Team for an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager.

Proudly established as a leading force in the UK foodservice industry, Meadow Vale’s ambitious growth plans make us the most attractive company to work for in the sector. We are looking for a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is proactive, and can demonstrate high levels of determination to grow sales and build strong customer relationships. The role of Business Development Manager is field based, with occasional Head Office work based at our modern offices on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. Occasional overnight stays will be necessary.

The successful candidate will join a talented sales team, and thrive working in a fast-paced, hardworking and collaborative environment.

This is an exciting role covering all aspects of business development management including:

  • Growing profitable sales revenues with both existing customers and through new business generation
  • Working towards KPI’s centred around business development in the areas of gaining new customers, securing new listings, targeted NPD drives and overall increase of brand awareness
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Utilising Marketing support to drive business growth
  • Work proactively on the maintenance of business details through our CRM System
  • Arrange and carry out customer cook ups to assist sales drive
  • Attend customer trade shows where applicable
