Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager (Adlook SMART DSP)
Location: UK
About the Role As a Business Development Manager at Adlook, you will support client acquisition efforts and contribute to the establishment of our innovative platform, Adlook SMART DSP (Self or Assisted Service Platform), in the UK.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to:
- Develop your sales and business development skills in an entrepreneurial environment
- Build meaningful stakeholder relationships
- Assist in expanding platform adoption across the region
You will play a crucial role in the growth of the SMART sector while embodying Adlook’s values and unique selling points.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client acquisition for Adlook SMART DSP
- Bring new clients to our innovative platform, including both Self-Service and Assisted Service Platform options
- Take an entrepreneurial approach to winning new business across the UK & Europe
- Work as an independent contributor, collaborating with various teams to establish and grow a new area of our business
- Own relationships with stakeholders at agencies and brands
- Work cross-functionally to deliver against client expectations
- Promote and represent Adlook’s values and USPs with clients and within the regional team
- Own and manage RFI (Request for Information) processes to secure new business opportunities
- Implement cross-selling tactics to drive adoption of our platform regionally

Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in adtech, with a preference for:
- Experience with a DSP (Demand-Side Platform), SSP (Supply-Side Platform), measurement, ad-serving solutions, or a data provider
- Deep understanding of insight-driven, solution-oriented selling
- Strong commercial and technical curiosity, with a desire to develop deep product knowledge
- Experience selling to or working with agencies is highly advantageous
- Comfortable working with complex tech solutions; experience with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) is a plus
- Analytical mindset to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- A track record of contributing to account growth or client retention
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambition to grow personally and contribute positively to team culture
- Willingness to develop and improve influencing and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (required)
