Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager – Nestlé Wholesale
Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Woking & surrounding areas (Camberley, Southampton)
Salary: £28,000 to £30,500 per annum + up to 20% bonus opportunity
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Powerforce is offering you an exciting opportunity to step into a Business Development Manager role, representing Nestlé—one of the world’s most iconic brands—entering and expanding the wholesale channels across Woking, Camberley, Southampton, and surrounding areas.
This isn’t just another job—it’s about taking full ownership of the Wholesale channel strategy and leading a high-performance team.
What You’ll Achieve by 2026
As the face of Nestlé in this territory, your mission is to ensure Nestlé brands are always front-and-centre in depots, depots, and warehouses. Your responsibilities include:

- Strategic Partnerships
- Build trusted advisor relationships with depot managers and key stakeholders
- Drive category growth and promotional planning—collaborating closely with teams to enhance Nestlé’s market position

- Leverage market insights to identify untapped opportunities
- Pitch, negotiate, and close business agreements ensuring Nestlé products are highly visible and available
- Skilled in interpreting sales data and allocating resources efficiently

High-Impact Activations
- Lead energetic activations, trade events, and New Product Development (NPD) launches
- Drive secondary displays that create instant engagement with customers

The "Gold Standard" Audit
- Audits compliance and sets the benchmark for top-tier displays
- Uses before-and-after reporting to demonstrate success to leadership
- Provides actionable strategies for continuous improvement

Territory Management
- Works across a diverse landscape including depots, cash & carries, multi-site retailers, and virtual warehouses

- Master Communicator – Commanding presence with the ability to engage and influence in high-pressure environments
- Sales-Savvy – Prefer hiring for builders & closers who can thrive in FMCG, wholesale, or retail settings. No formal requirements, but closers mindset is pivotal
- Resilient & Target-Focused – Approaches challenges with confidence and adaptability
- Mobile & Territorial – Full UK driving license (held for at least 12 months) is essential
