Location: Livingston - Hybrid working and Travel across the UK

Employment type: Full Time - Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About The Role…

You will be a key member of the Ipsum Infrastructure Team, responsible for expanding our client base and assisting with the increase of revenue across Ipsum Infrastructure Ltd You’ll be joining a friendly and engaging team, where you will be liaising with prospective new customers and researching companies to establish new business relationships and building on already existing relationships.

As a Business Development Manager you will…

To pro-actively generate leads and opportunities for the expansion of the maintenance provision for Ipsum Infrastructure Ltd. Use of CRM to record all leads and live opportunities. To travel as required to meet customer demands so Ipsum Infrastructure always appear to be ‘on the doorstep’ Nationally. To react to other leads from existing customers or in-house requirements. To keep records of sites contacted with specific names and numbers. To produce quotations for both small projects, large projects, frameworks and maintenance contracts as required. Chase to a conclusion, all previously quoted works and support development of repeat business i.e. contract renewals Provide a key point of contact for existing and new customers. To ensure customers are made aware of new technology. The promotion of free discussion on areas of improvement To attend sales meetings, when required, and provide reporting information and sales forecasts. To assist and support in all aspects in the smooth running of the sales department including large tenders.

About You…

Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation. Good national or large client links FM / Telecoms / Power / Drainage / Water / EV etc advantageous Previous experience within business development, sales or large frameworks
