Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and grow revenue across target markets in logistics and supply chain services.

Responsibilities include:

- Conducting market research
- Qualifying leads
- Preparing proposals and presentations
- Negotiating commercial terms in line with company strategy
The role involves collaborating with operations and account management teams to ensure service alignment, tracking performance against sales targets, and providing regular reporting and forecasts. The Business Development Manager will also represent Cardinal Global Logistics in virtual and in-person meetings, promote the Cardinal brand, and contribute to continuous improvement of business development processes.
Qualifications
- Proven business development and B2B sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing new business.
- Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities, with a focus on customer service and long-term partnership growth.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with an understanding of international trade and transportation solutions.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, including market research, opportunity analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Comfort working remotely with high levels of self-motivation, time management, and collaboration in distributed teams.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and common business productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar platforms).
