Established Territory | Account Growth & New Business

Are you a commercially driven sales professional who knows the professional hair or beauty industry and loves building strong, long-term customer relationships?

We’re working confidentially with an established professional hair brand to recruit a Business Development Manager for a key territory covering Liverpool, Chester, the Wirral and Blackpool.

The Opportunity

  • You’ll inherit a portfolio of existing salon accounts and be responsible for strengthening those relationships, identifying opportunities to increase sales and ensuring customers are getting maximum value from the brand and its product portfolio.
  • Alongside developing existing business, you’ll have the freedom and responsibility to identify, approach and win new salon partners across the territory.
  • You’ll be visible in your area, building genuine relationships with salon owners, decision-makers and industry professionals while representing a respected name within the professional hair market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing an established portfolio of salon accounts across the territory.
  • Building strong, commercially focused relationships with existing customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase product penetration, customer spend and account value.
  • Proactively prospecting, approaching and winning new salon business.
  • Developing a strong pipeline of opportunities and managing the full sales journey from initial contact through to account opening.
  • Planning your territory effectively to maximise customer contact, sales opportunities and growth.
  • Delivering product presentations and confidently communicating the value of the brand and its portfolio.
  • Working closely with education, marketing and internal teams to support customers and drive territory performance.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor activity and opportunities within the professional hair and beauty sector.
  • Taking genuine ownership of your territory and consistently working towards ambitious sales targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
