Role Summary
The IT Business Development Manager will drive Redsquid’s Regional Sales Teams in achieving New Logo Targets. This role focuses on:
- Winning new logo business through C-Level thought leadership.
- Providing consultative advice on technology solutions.
- Selling Redsquid’s portfolio in a business outcome-led manner, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of successful new business sales experience in IT Services / Managed Services.
- A strong appreciation of Telecoms and Cyber Security across SMB and enterprise markets.
- In-depth market knowledge, sales success, and product credibility.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Pipeline Management
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by selling appropriate solutions to new businesses.
- Lead and close significant opportunities that generate incremental revenue.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting to ensure target adherence.
Strategic Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing and SDR teams to:
- Drive lead generation.
- Define key solutions, messaging, and propositions.
- Work with technical and commercial teams to ensure market-specific pricing and commercial viability for proposals.
Client Engagement & Proposal Development
- Lead client engagements and campaigns to secure new business.
- Present Redsquid’s technology roadmap to technical and business stakeholders.
- Ensure proposals are tailored to client needs with clear business benefits and ROI.
- Represent Redsquid at client meetings, industry events, and networking events.
Solution Development
- Work with internal teams to price and resource IT and communications solutions effectively.
- Attend client meetings to gather technical and business requirements.
- Deliver winning proposals and presentations that align with customer objectives.

Skills & Attributes Required
- Proven success in leading and closing complex sales opportunities.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage deadlines.
- Passion for technology and how it drives business transformation.
- Demonstrable success in IT Services sales, with a focus on SMB/enterprise markets.
- Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Organised, process-driven, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Energetic, professional, and confident communicator.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a driven entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their alignment with Redsquid’s and clients’ strategic goals.
Experience Required
Essential
- Minimum 5 years in IT Services sales.
- Experience in presenting business cases and ROI for technical solutions.
- Ability to customise approaches based on client type and industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
