Business Development Manager

Location: Manchester
Salary: £65,000 to £90,000 (plus bonus)
Experience: Senior B2B relationship builder with a strong network

If you're a senior B2B relationship-builder who can open doors and create warm, commercial conversations, this is an interesting opportunity to join a busy Manchester office and work directly with Partners across multiple practice areas.

Our client is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to help grow the firm's pipeline through high-quality introductions, relationship-led business development, and structured follow-up. This is not a high-volume cold sales role. It's about credibility, trust, and being able to connect the right people.

They're open on background. You do not need to have worked in a law firm, but you do need to be comfortable learning how legal services are positioned and sold, and how to spot opportunities across different teams.

What You'll Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
