Business Development Manager – Foodservice Wholesale (Hampshire)
Salary & Benefits: £38,000–£40,000 + generous commission + company car + 25 days holiday Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
This role is ideal for an energetic new business hunter who thrives on prospecting, relationship-building, and turning cold leads into long-term customers in the foodservice, hospitality, and catering sector.
The company is a growing, highly reputable wholesaler with a strong reputation for customer service, agility, and genuine business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow new business development across a defined Hampshire territory.
- Identify prospects, build a strong pipeline, and engage key decision-makers.
- Convert opportunities into active, loyal accounts with the support of an experienced internal team.
- Ensure every new customer experiences a smooth, positive onboarding process.

Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales or business development.
- A hunter mindset—passionate about prospecting and new business growth.
- Strong outreach, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Resilience, determination, and positivity in high-pressure sales environments.
- Experience in foodservice, FMCG, hospitality, or catering supply is a strong advantage.
