🚗 We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager
Location: South East & East of England
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager in the insurance sector, a broker with motor experience, or have great sales skills in another sector - ready for a new challenge? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you’ll play a key role in building strong broker relationships and driving profitable growth across your region.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across your region
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive growth
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for brokers
- Manage and develop a consistent pipeline of opportunities
- Represent the business professionally in all broker interactions

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular broker meetings (face-to-face and virtual), including prospecting new partners
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new and existing business opportunities
- Re-engage previously quoted or lapsed opportunities to maximise conversions
- Stay informed on market trends and share insights with colleagues
- Collaborate with New Business and Renewal teams to maximise growth
- Support brokers with queries across new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards
- Regular reporting on pipeline, activity, and business won

What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, relationship-focused professional
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Ability to manage your own time and territory effectively
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years’ experience in the insurance industry
- Background in insurance sales or broker relationship management
- Strong understanding of the fleet market and broker needs
- Cert CII (or willingness to work towards it)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven
