Sales Regional Manager – Optical Dispensing (HOYA Vision Care)

About the Role
This position offers a dynamic opportunity in field-based sales, focusing on optical dispensing and business development within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing a designated sales region for optical products
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with:
- Optical practices
- Key stakeholders
- Consistently identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Delivering training and technical support to customers on products and dispensing techniques
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring target achievement
- Strategically planning and organising your territory to maximise performance
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure high standards of customer service
- Representing HOYA Vision Care professionally in the field

What We’re Looking For
We seek driven, personable, and passionate candidates who thrive in a results-driven sales environment. Your abilities to build trust and influence will be key as you confirm HOYA as a trusted partner to clinicians worldwide.
What You’ll Bring (Essential)
- Experience in:
- Field-based sales
- Optical dispensing or eyecare industry (highly preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills – ability to engage with pent clinicians, dispensary teams, and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Results-driven mindset with a competitive yet collaborative spirit
- Excellent organisation and planning skills to manage volumes of accounts
- Confident, professional, and persuasive approach, with a natural ability to negotiate and problem-solve
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for financial data)
- GCSE grades (and above) for:
- Maths
- English
- (Additional subjects are a plus)
What You’ll Bring (Desirable)
- Relevant qualifications or experience, including:
- Dispensing qualifications or hands-on optometry/dispensing experience
- Experience managing and developing a sales territory
- Technical knowledge of optical products, manufacturing processes, or industry trends
- Degree/A-levels in optics-related fields (business or marketing also applicable)
