Business Development Manager – Retail Loss Prevention

UK based | UK and European travel

We are recruiting for an established international manufacturer of in-store retail merchandising and loss prevention solutions.

This is not a general security sales position. We need someone who already understands how retailers physically and electronically protect high-theft products in stores.

Your current title might be in sales, product management, account management, commercial management, or solutions consulting. Your knowledge of retail loss prevention products is more important than your current job title.

The opportunity

You will become the company’s retail loss prevention specialist for Europe while developing new business with UK grocery retailers and consumer brands.

You will help customers reduce theft without damaging product availability, the customer experience, or sales. The solutions can include:

  • EAS and RFID systems
  • Security tags and source tagging
  • Merchandise and on-product protection
  • Anti-sweep hooks and shelf-security products
  • Tethers, cases, and protected displays
  • Controlled-access dispensers and security cabinets
  • Shelf-management and retail merchandising solutions

What you will do

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
