Business Development Manager – API Services

Location: Remote (Europe) | Full-Time

About Us

We are a fast-growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation based in Europe, providing high-quality API development and manufacturing services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients worldwide. As we expand our commercial footprint, we are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to help us grow our client base and deepen existing partnerships across the European market and beyond.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be the primary commercial interface between our CDMO and prospective and existing clients. You will identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and work closely with our technical and operations teams to translate client needs into tailored service proposals. This is a remote role open to candidates based anywhere in Europe, with regular travel to client sites, industry events, and our manufacturing facilities expected.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotech, and specialty chemical companies requiring API development and manufacturing services
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of prospects from initial contact through to contract execution
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, capabilities presentations, and commercial offers tailored to client needs
  • Negotiate terms and close agreements in collaboration with senior leadership and legal counsel

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
