Sales Executive – B2B Media & Advertising (South West Territory)
Bristol – Office-Based | Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
Iconic is seeking two accomplished and ambitious sales professionals to drive existing revenue growth and new business development for some of the UK’s leading regional business information and media brands, including:
- insidermedia.com
- Business Insider
This is a high-profile, results-focused role, working consultatively with a mix of clients—from high-end corporates to regional businesses—within the B2B Media sector.
Your primary focus will be on developing the South West territory, growing revenue from current clients and securing new partnerships through strategic sales consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive advertising and marketing spend across all platforms:
- Print publications
- Digital media
- Email campaigns
- Data-driven solutions
- In-person events (promoting business excellence).
- Collaborate closely with editorial and commercial teams to launch and promote new products effectively.
- Cultivate relationships with ** décider-level stakeholders** via consultative sales methods, covering the entire sales lifecycle (from initial engagement to deal closure).
- Exceed revenue targets by identifying and capitalising on opportunities within the B2B media landscape.

Requirements and Criteria
- Proven success in consultative sales, with a track record in:
- Account management (both in-person and over the phone).
- New business development (end-to-end sales process).
- Preference for candidates with direct experience in publishing/media sales, though transferable sales skills are highly valued.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities, including fluency in communicating with senior executives (Board-level).
- Executional drive from Day One—enandiability to thrive in an ambitious, fast-paced environment.
- Valid driving licence (travel required as part of the role).
