Business Development Manager – Field Sales

We’ve been championing local businesses for over 60 years. Once our Yellow Pages helped them get found and chosen, we now lead the way with proven digital marketing solutions, making us the UK’s number one managed digital advertising partner for small businesses.

About the Role

We’re looking for ambitious, proactive sales professionals to join our dynamic Field Sales team as Business Development Managers. Passionate about building relationships, delivering exceptional results, and working in a fast-growing digital marketing sector, you’ll help businesses across the UK reach their full potential.

As stated by our CEO, Mark Clisby:

“As part of the Field Sales team, you’ll work with a group of high-performing, customer-centric individuals—#Oneteam—supporting one another to achieve our goals.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hunting for New Business – Proactively prospect through self-sourced and company-lead leads to secure new clients.
  • Tailoring Solutions – Conduct face-to-face and virtual consultations to assess customer needs and recommend custom digital marketing solutions.
  • Closing Deals – Present, negotiate, and finalise agreements with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Management – Nurture long-term relationships, ensuring a seamless customer experience and continuing account support for up to 12 months post-sale.
  • Data Analysis – Review performance data to identify growth opportunities, enhance client ROI, and create long-term success strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
