Business Development Manager – Specialist Bridging Finance
Location: Home-based (UK-wide), with training/team visits to South Manchester
About the Role

This ambitious lender, specialising in residential, semi-commercial and commercial bridging finance, combines experienced commercial decisions with exceptional service and a relationship-first approach. By offering fast, no-fee valuations, quick turnaround decisions, and true broker-centric support, you’ll play a key role in expanding their high-growth portfolio.
This fully home-based role offers full autonomy to develop your own territory, with full support from an expert underwriting team dedicated to speed, clarity, and solution-focused lending. You’ll report direct to senior management, ensuring your strategy aligns with the company’s fast-evolving ambitions.
You’ll earn a competitive basic salary + performance-related bonuses, a car allowance, and work with a team that trusts frontier-thinking professionals to take the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth of the lender’s bridging finance proposition by developing strong, long-term broker relationships
- Identify and generate new lending opportunities whilst keeping existing partnerships profitable
- Structure and present complex transactions to the underwriting team effectively
- Actively promote the company’s differentiation—focusing on:
- Fast decision-making
- Hassle-free in-house valuations
- Bespoke lending solutions
- Partner with underwriters to ensure a seamless client experience from enquiry to completion
- Represent the business at broker events, networking meetups, and industry conferences
- Deliver consistent lending volumes without compromising exceptional service standards

About You
You’ll bring specialist experience in bridging finance or property lending, with a deep understanding of what brokers truly value. Specifically, you should have:
Core Requirements
- A proven track record as a Business Development Manager within bridging finance or specialist property lending
- Strong relationship-building skills, with an established network capable of generating quality opportunities
- Commercial acumen to assess, structure, and close high-value transactions
- Experience selling a differentiated lending proposition directly to brokers
- A self-motivated, proactive approach with the drive to build a high-performing territory
