About us
Join one of the UK’s fastest growing and award-winning banks.
We are a team of ambitious, passionate, hardworking, and committed people who have successfully created and launched one of the UK’s newest specialist property finance banks. As we embark on an exciting journey of growth, we are seeking exceptional new team members who possess both the ambition and drive to contribute to our vision. At GB Bank, we believe that career progression should not only be achievable but accelerated, enabling our employees to reach their potential in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere.
Our environment is fast-paced and collaborative, where your efforts are recognised, rewarded, and make a tangible impact. We take pride in fostering and open and inclusive culture that not only embraces change but also encourages continuous learning and professional development.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and introduce Buy-to-Let (BTL) & Bridging lending opportunities to GB Bank from both existing and new intermediary relationships within a defined postcode region. This is achieved through regular face-to-face meetings, telephone engagement, and digital interaction with brokers and introducers.
- The role is focused on originating opportunities across both sub-£3m loan sizes and transactions above £3m, with larger and more complex cases being effectively identified and referred to Relationship Managers for progression.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Work closely with the wider team to support the growth and performance of the overall region.
- Plan and maintain a strategic diary of broker appointments to develop strong, credible, and trust-based relationships with the introducer base.
- Actively seek and develop new sources of business from inbound enquiries, broker registration requests, existing relationships, industry networks, and other market channels.
- Maximise Bridging and BTL lending opportunities from the intermediary base by clearly articulating GB Bank’s competitive positioning, and identifying opportunities for product innovation.
- Originate lending opportunities across both sub-£3m and £3m+ loan sizes, ensuring larger or more complex cases are effectively qualified and referred to Relationship Managers.
- Analyse property lending activity to identify growth opportunities and proactively manage any reduction in business from key introducers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
