Your Next Territory. Your Next Career Move.
Are you sitting at your desk wondering if now is the time you finally make your move? If you are a sales professional with a talent for influencing and a hunger for growth, don’t just ponder your options, make a career change.
Powerforce is offering you the chance to step into a Business Development Manager role representing Nestlé, one of the world’s most iconic FMCG brands. This isn't just about maintaining a territory; it’s about taking total ownership of the Wholesale channel and stepping into a world-class team behind you.
Your Roadmap: What You’ll Be Achieving
As a full-time, permanent Business Development Manager covering Northampton, Luton, Leicester and surrounding areas, you are the face of Nestlé within the wholesale environment. Your mission is to ensure that Nestle brands - encompassing categories such as Confectionery, Coffee and Waters - are front, center, and impossible to miss.
- Strategic Relationship Building: You won't just be visiting depots; you’ll become a trusted advisor to Depot Managers and key stakeholders, ensuring Nestlé is their first thought for every promotion.
- Data-Driven Influence: Use sophisticated insights and sales data to spot gaps in the market. You’ll pitch, negotiate, and close agreements that drive product availability and visibility.
- Mastering High Impact: From executing high-energy activation days and trade events to securing secondary displays for New Product Development (NPD), you’ll be responsible for making a measurable impact on the bottom line.
- Creative Execution: It’s not just about the sale; it’s about the "look." You’ll audit compliance, set up stunning displays, and report your results with "before and after" showcases that highlight your success to the wider business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
