Business Development Manager

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across northern England, Scotland and Ireland for a well-established and highly respected PCB solutions provider. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a blend of new business development and strategic account management.

As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of developing new customers within target sectors such as medtech, aerospace, automotive and general industrial. You will be responsible for delivering against revenue and margin targets, building strong account plans, and positioning high-quality PCB solutions that meet customer needs.

Working closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams, you will manage the full quote-to-order process, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and on time. The Business Development Manager will also act as a trusted advisor, offering technical input on PCB design and manufacturability.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Business Development Manager role:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in PCB sales or the electronic components industry
  • Proven track record in new business development
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Commercially astute with a strategic, proactive approach

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • £60,000-£65,000 basic salary
  • Performance-based bonus (OTE)
  • £750 per month car allowance
  • Pension (5% contribution)
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Remote working
