Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager — CIS

Win new customers with CIS, powered by Hubexo

If you are a closer who enjoys prospecting, building pipeline and turning commercial conversations into new business, this role gives you the platform to do that in a specialist construction market.

CIS, powered by Hubexo, provides Irish construction intelligence that helps customers identify new projects, key companies, and profitable leads. Our customers use CIS Online to understand market activity, find relevant opportunities, and build stronger sales pipelines.

As a Business Development Manager, you will prospect into construction-sector businesses, engage commercial decision-makers, and show how CIS can help them find and win more work. This is a genuine new business role, with ownership from first contact to close.

Why this role matters

This role is central to customer acquisition and commercial growth.

You will be speaking with people who care about finding the right projects, building their own pipeline, and winning more work. That could include:

  • Sales leaders
  • Business development teams
  • Commercial decision-makers
  • Estimating or pre-construction contacts
  • Business owners
  • Senior leaders across the construction sector

Your role is to help them understand how reliable construction intelligence can support their growth, while contributing to Hubexo’s recurring revenue and long-term customer value.

What you'll do

You will:

  • Prospect into construction-sector businesses to create new sales opportunities.
  • Engage decision-makers across sales, commercial, estimating, pre-construction, and senior leadership teams.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities in HubSpot CRM.
  • Lead discovery conversations that uncover customer growth goals, pipeline gaps, and project intelligence needs.
  • Demonstrate how CIS Online helps customers identify new projects, key companies, and profitable leads.
  • Present and negotiate proposals that turn prospects into long-term customers.
  • Close new business across phone, video, and in-person meetings.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to turn market insight into commercial opportunities.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, revenue, and recurring revenue targets through focus, pace, and ownership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
