Role: Business Development Manager - New Business
Salary: Up to £70,000 plus car allowance and bonuses

We're partnering with one of the UK's leading beauty distributors, a business with over 30 years of success bringing exciting international beauty and wellness brands to the UK market.
Working with major retailers including Boots, Superdrug, Amazon, Tesco, and Sainsbury's, they've built an outstanding reputation for identifying high-potential brands and helping them scale. Following an exciting transition to employee ownership, they're entering their next phase of growth and are looking for a commercially driven Brand Partnerships Manager - New Business to help lead it.

This is a brand-new role with huge visibility across the business.
You'll be responsible for discovering the next generation of beauty and wellness brands, building strategic partnerships and helping shape the future portfolio. If you love spotting trends before everyone else, building relationships and turning commercial opportunities into reality, this is a rare opportunity to make a genuine impact.

What you'll be doing
- Identify and evaluate new beauty and wellness brands with strong UK growth potential.
- Build a pipeline of future brand partners.
- Develop relationships with retailers, founders, consultants, and industry leaders.
- Represent the business at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
- Analyse market trends, retailer data, and consumer insights to identify opportunities.
- Create commercial recommendations and business cases for new partnerships.
- Support retailer innovation programmes and new business initiatives.
- Help onboard and launch new brands into the UK market.
- Champion the business across LinkedIn and the wider beauty industry.
What we're looking for
- Experience within beauty, FMCG, or retail.
- Strong knowledge of the UK beauty landscape.
- Experience working with retailers such as Boots, Superdrug, Amazon, or major beauty ecommerce accounts.
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills.
- Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and innovation.
