Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for driving growth and expanding Aston Hunt Logistics’ client base within the medical and healthcare sectors. This position focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and developing tailored proposals that align with clients’ medication supply and delivery needs.

Day-to-day activities include:

- Conducting market research
- Managing a sales pipeline
- Preparing and delivering presentations
- Negotiating contracts
- Collaborating with operations to ensure service capabilities match client expectations
The role also involves:
- Monitoring performance metrics
- Providing feedback on service improvements
- Supporting strategic initiatives to strengthen the company’s market position
The Business Development Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and long-term client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and account management, with experience in identifying opportunities and closing deals.
- Skills in relationship-building, stakeholder management, and customer service to maintain long-term, trusted partnerships.
- Skills in market research, data analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making and strategy development.
- Skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation, including the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including pipeline management and CRM proficiency.
- Previous experience in logistics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical courier services is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and travel for client meetings when required.
