Are you an experienced Business Development Manager who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and creating new opportunities?

We are recruiting for an established national contractor that provides a reliable, high-quality service to customers across the UK.

This is a field-based role covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk, with support from the regional office.

You will take ownership of building a strong regional pipeline through a combination of your own professional network, existing customer relationships, referrals, procurement software, networking and targeted cold calling.

Around 40% of your week will be focused on proactive new business development, with the remainder spent meeting clients, managing existing accounts and developing long-term commercial relationships.

You will be supported by experienced bid, marketing and regional operational teams, allowing you to focus on opening doors, developing relationships and generating the right opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
