Business Development Manager

About the Role
Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor, renowned for its reputation for excellence and a strong portfolio of high-profile projects. Committed to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation, the company seeks an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support and accelerate its continued growth.
This role involves collaborating closely under the Business Development Director to identify new opportunities, foster strong client relationships, and convert strategic projects that align with Mivan’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities, represent the company in the market, and contribute to the expansion and success of Mivan.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the interiors, fit-out, and construction sectors
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective CRM management
- Lead client meetings, presentations, PQQs, tenders, and business development activities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and support strategic planning

Requirements
We seek a candidate with the following experiences and qualities:
- A proven track record of winning new business in construction, interiors, fit-out, or related sectors
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify high-value opportunities
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems
- Confidence in engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated and organised, with a proactive approach to driving business growth
