Role Description
This full-time Business Development Manager role is based in Chesham and follows a hybrid working model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities in the audio-visual integration market, nurturing relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Preparing proposals and tender responses
- Presenting ON-AV’s solutions to prospective clients
- Working closely with technical and design teams to translate client needs into tailored AV solutions
- Supporting the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and handover to delivery teams
- Tracking sales performance
- Contributing to strategic sales plans
- Representing ON-AV at industry events and meetings
Qualifications
- Strong business development, B2B sales, and account management skills, ideally within audio-visual, technology, or related sectors.
- Experience in solution selling, including the ability to understand client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to shape proposals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging clients, consulting engineers, and architects.
- Solid organizational and project coordination abilities, including managing pipelines, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
- Working knowledge or interest in audio-visual integration, video conferencing, and digital signage solutions, with willingness to learn technical concepts.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools) to support sales reporting and forecasting.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, including regular travel to Chesham and client sites as needed.
- Relevant education in business, sales, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; prior experience with tender processes is an advantage.
