In 2025, OBO joined The Together Group, a network of agencies across the fashion, luxury and lifestyle sectors. To aid the agencies continual growth, we are looking for a strategic and client facing Business development manager to support the Director of Growth in developing and nurturing new and existing client relationships.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our agency. This role is ideal for someone with experience in client servicing, account management and business development (either within an account leadership position or as a standalone role) who is naturally curious, highly organised and passionate about the worlds of luxury, fashion, entertainment and technology.
Working closely with the Director of Growth & Strategy, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing agency marketing materials, supporting pitches and helping build meaningful relationships with new and existing clients and partners.
You'll have a genuine interest in culture and emerging trends, a passion for creating live experiences, and a strong understanding of how brands use experiential marketing to build meaningful connections with audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business development
- Support the Director of Growth (and our lead generation partners) in identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Research against prospective clients, markets and industry sectors to support with outreach communications
- Manage the hubspot CRM with Director of Growth, ensuring opportunities and contacts are accurately tracked
- Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, pitch responses and proactive outreach documents. Leading and co-ordinating teams across the agency for the final presentation
- Monitor competitor activity and identify trends that could inform agency growth (across experiential marketing, luxury, fashion, entertainment, tech and wider cultural trends)
- Support with relationship building across the Together Group agencies and identifying opportunities for cross agency collaboration
- Create and manage a cultural calendar, identifying relevant networking event and awards moments suitable for OBO

Client and Account Support
- Support Director of Growth with annual and quarterly growth plans
- Support wider team in nurturing existing client relationships – helping to identify opportunities for organic growth and providing tools for outreach (e.g. competitor reviews, cultural trends, relevant creds etc)
- Co-ordinate follow up actions after meetings and manage conversations as they progress, ensuring the correct team are bought into the conversations at the right time
- Prepare meeting agendas, timelines and contact reports where required
- Serve as an agency ambassador, uphold and promote OBO brand positioning and cultivate relationships within the industry
Agency Marketing and tools
- Curate and maintain case studies, social posts and portfolio asset creation post events
- Support the Director of Growth with the creation of bespoke credential presentations, using strategic insight to create tailored decks for specific sectors and client opportunities
- Manage OBO’s monthly Together Group newsletter submission – ensuring sign off from the Paris marketing team
- Support the Director of Growth and marketing team in Paris with the ideation, development of content and timely posting of social content across OBO channels – in line with live projects and the cultural calendar
- Support the Director of Growth with the Awards process – helping to identify relevant awards and categories for our clients and managing timelines and team for the development of entries.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A minimum of 5 years within either an agency or in house marketing role
- Proven client servicing and project management experience – ideally showing relationship building with client and account planning experience
- In house or agency social, marketing or business development experience advantageous
- Strategic mindset and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent presentation skills – with proficiency across keynote, google slides and other presentation programmes as well as financial tools (e.g. excel)
- Creative mindset – ability to work with internal teams to ideate and feedback on creative ideas against client briefs
- Commercially astute
- Culturally aware with a passion for brands, creativity and events
- Competent managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with CRM tools advantageous
