The Impact You'll Make
At Danfoss Climate Solutions, we are looking for a commercially driven and strategically minded Business Development Manager to accelerate growth within the rapidly evolving Data Center cooling ecosystem across Europe.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy, and market influence, with a strong focus on liquid cooling solutions, Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), and next-generation thermal management technologies for AI-driven and high-density Data Centers.
You will work closely with Sales Directors, Key Account Managers, Product Lines, and Global Solutions teams, helping with the position of Danfoss as a key partner for OEMs, integrators, hyperscalers, and colocation operators across Europe.
This is a high-impact role with strong visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how future Data Centers are designed and cooled.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and execute the European growth strategy for Data Center liquid cooling solutions, with focus on CDU technologies and emerging cooling architectures
- Build and expand strategic partnerships with OEMs, CDU manufacturers, liquid cooling specialists, integrators, and ecosystem partners across Europe
- Drive specification influence across consultants, MEP firms, Data Center operators, colocation providers, and end users
- Support regional Sales teams and Strategic Account Managers in developing strategic opportunities and customer engagement plans
- Identify market trends, emerging players, and new business opportunities, translating insights into scalable commercial growth initiatives

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field is considered an advantage
- Proven experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, or Market Development within Data Centers, HVAC, liquid cooling, or mission-critical infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Data Center cooling architectures and liquid cooling technologies, ideally including CDU solutions
- Experience operating in complex international and multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong commercial mindset combined with relationship-building, influencing, and strategic thinking capabilities
- Fluent English communication skills; additional European languages are considered a plus

Compensation & Benefits (ITA)
- Permanent Contract
- CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (cod. CNEL H011)
- Annual Gross Salary Range: €70.000 – €80.000
- Bonus system: variable component expressed as a percentage of annual gross salary, linked to company performance.
- Salary review: conducted annually, based on individual merit and overall company performance.
