Leicester (Hybrid) | UK Travel Required
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonus
Help Build the UK’s Next AI-Native Technology Company
TulipTech is not a traditional software company.
We’re building an AI-first technology business that combines software development, managed services, Microsoft technologies, cloud, cyber security and our own SaaS products to help organisations transform how they work.
Our engineering team of over 90 professionals across the UK, Bangladesh, India and the Philippines is already embracing AI throughout the software development lifecycle. Now we’re looking for someone who can help us bring those capabilities to new customers.
This isn’t about selling one product.
This is about helping organisations solve real business problems through technology.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and creating long-term partnerships.
You’ll introduce organisations to TulipTech’s capabilities across:
- AI & Business Automation
- Custom Software Development
- Managed IT Services
- Microsoft 365 & Azure
- Cyber Security
- Cloud Infrastructure
- Digital Transformation
- SaaS Products including LOLERFlow and future platforms
You’ll become a trusted advisor to customers rather than a transactional salesperson.
What You’ll Be Doing
New Business Development
- Identify and engage new customers across selected industry sectors.
- Build relationships with business owners, directors and senior decision makers.
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer challenges.
- Work with our technical teams to shape tailored solutions.
- Present TulipTech’s products and services with confidence.
- Manage opportunities from first conversation through to signed contract.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
